
Bhargava Kosuru is an Associate Attorney at Kahn Yuniver Law, where he focuses on commercial litigation and transactional matters. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
Bhargava holds an LL.M. with High Honors from Columbia Law School and a dual degree in Law and Business Administration from Symbiosis International University in India. Before relocating to the United States, he practiced commercial litigation in Mumbai for over six years, representing multinational corporations, financial institutions, and public-sector entities in complex, high-stakes disputes. His work earned him recognition in Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2023 as a “Recommended Lawyer” in insolvency and restructuring.
He has published several legal articles on topics including third-party funding, fraud arbitrability, and international arbitration. His paper, “Deciphering the Grey Area in Bilateral Investment Treaties: A Study of Umbrella Clauses,” was featured in the NALSAR International Law Journal.
While at Columbia, Bhargava served as a student editor for the American Review of International Arbitration and completed an externship with the Kings County District Attorney’s Office.
A dedicated advocate beyond the courtroom, Bhargava is a committed vegan and animal rights supporter.
