Mieola Easter, Esq.

Mieola Easter is an Associate Attorney at Kahn Yuniver Law, where she focuses on commercial litigation, transactions, and entertainment law.  Mieola is admitted to practice in New York.

Before joining Kahn Yuniver Law, Mieola practiced at mid-sized and boutique firms, providing legal counsel and strategic solutions for large corporations in a variety of areas including commercial and civil litigation, labor and employment, corporate transactions, intellectual property, and entertainment law. Mieola is well-versed in alternative dispute resolution, and her  practice experience includes negotiating and settling multi-million-dollar disputes.

Mieola graduated from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. While at Cardozo, Mieola served as the Executive Editor of Cardozo’s Dispute Resolution Honor’s Society. While on the dispute resolution team, Mieola won 1st Place in Arbitration at the 2022 FINRA Triathlon Competition and was a semi-finalist in the 2023 International Sports Arbitration Moot Competition.  While at Cardozo, Mieola focused on providing representation for filmmakers, artists, and entertainment organizations through her internships at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and the Filmmakers Legal Clinic. Additionally, she served as the President of Cardozo’s Black Law Students Association and Chair of Cardozo’s Entertainment Law Society.

Mieola earned a B.A. in Political Science and minor in Spanish at the University of Texas. During her time at the University of Texas, she studied abroad in Spain. She also founded UT’s Noteworthy A Cappella, a nationally recognized choir.

Mieola is currently a member of the New York State Bar Association, Metropolitan Black Bar Association, and the Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association.
